A joint operation conducted by Belakoba outpost and Rajganj police station has exposed an illegal call center operating in a house in Belakoba, Rajganj block. Eight individuals, including the house owner, have been arrested in connection with the case.
The police received secret information on Tuesday regarding the illicit call center in the Saheb Bari area of Belakoba, leading to a coordinated raid by Belakoba outpost and Rajganj police. The operation resulted in the apprehension of two youths and five girls from the house, along with the seizure of multiple mobile phones, SIM cards, two laptops, a four-wheeler, and other items.
The owner was subsequently arrested during a late-night raid in Belakoba. The investigation is ongoing, and the names of the accused have not been disclosed for investigative purposes.
